The Bodhi Story…
Bodhidharma is the name of the eminent Indian scholar who brought the art of Zen Meditation to China in 520 A.D. Bodhi is a Sanskrit word meaning enlightened, “awakened” and completely open. Communicating with your heart and eyes, your “true essence” underneath your “social shell”. Being vibrantly “alive” and fully present, with a passion for living. It does not matter to a person with open-heart awareness whether they are successful or unsuccessful, well known or absolutely unknown, powerful or just a nobody. To a person with open-heart awareness, these dualities don't matter at all, because this awareness is the greatest treasure. When you have it, you don't want anything else.

Divine Indifference
Bodhidharma achieved enlightenment after sitting in a mountain cave in front of a rock wall for nine years refusing to talk to anyone. After struggling with the tortuous prison of his busy mind-made sense of self, which was filled with illusory reactive thoughts of fear and desire and mental noise over future and past, he finally achieved a state of stillness that was beyond thought and form and at peace with the present moment. He learned that by allowing, “what is” to exist without needing to change anything, it brought him the inner peace and aliveness that was at the core of his being, his true nature.
After returning from his years of sitting with an aching back, he discovered the healing effects of bodywork and soon realized that a balanced body was complimentary to a balanced mind . He began experiencing a new freedom, enjoying the body and all that the body made possible. Subsequently his heart opened and his love for life, therefore his love life, greatly improved.
